Meet Your Neighbors: Jordan and Patrick
We caught up with Jordan Williams and Patrick Fleming at Downtown Dwellings annual Tenant Appreciation Christmas Party. They live in an apartment at Kramer School Lofts. They were in town looking for a new place to live and they loved the fact that Jill and Mark personally drove them around to look at some of their apartments that were available to rent. Jordan said they called a couple of other companies for a tour and never heard back.
What really impressed them about Kramer was the community atmosphere there and the affordability of a two bedroom since Patrick uses the extra space for his online business. Patrick works at Arkansas Department of Health but his passion is making and selling candles, art, and more on his online store. His best seller - a fried chicken scented candle that arrives in a popeyes chicken box. Visit his store Paper Kraken on Etsy:
Jordan is a clinical psychologist at the VA Hospital at Fort Roots. He moved here from Louisville Kentucky for work. He got his bachelors degree in Louisville then moved to Tuscaloosa for a year to get his PHD. He has been in Little Rock for two years. He loves to read, hang out at some of his favorite places downtown, and their animals.
The couple has a hedgehog named Quellian who is really mean, a cat named Holland who is a dwarf, a cat named Scout who loves to roam around the apartment and a dog named Chance.
Jordan and Patrick love living downtown. One of their favorite things is the walkability of the neighborhood and the fact that they are close to everything. Some of their favorite spots are Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro, The Flying Saucer, Rebel Kettle Brewing, Lost Forty Brewing, The Rail Yard, Count Porkula, The Rev Room and Nexus Coffee. If you see them around the neighborhood, be sure to say Hi and don’t forget to ask them about the hedgehog scandal of Kramer School Lofts.
