Featured Resident: Nicole Boddington
We recently had a wonderful tenant appreciation party at Raduno Brick Oven & Barroom (thank you for hosting us). Since we love our Downtown Dwellings community, we host parties a couple of times a year so we can all get to know each other better. Our marketing director, Mandie Sherrod, was gracious enough to join in on the fun and accost some of our tenants for interviews (after the drinks were flowing, of course). The first person she sat down with was the lovely Nicole Boddington. Here’s what came out of that hard hitting interview….
Nicole lives and breathes the SoMa neighborhood. She's a personal trainer and teaches bootcamp classes at SparkFit. She lives in one of our mansions turned apartment right down the street with her Jack Russell Terrier.
Nicole loves cycling, so her favorite thing about living downtown is that she can walk or bike anywhere and has access to bike lanes and the River Trail close by. She enjoys riding her bike everywhere, even to work at her day job at CJRW. And she likes taking Jack around the neighborhood on walks, to MacArthur Dog Park, or to support some of her favorite SoMa businesses. Some of her favorite spots are Raduno, Electric Ghost, Moxy Mercantile, Fassler Hall, Dust Bowl Lanes, and the Capital Hotel.
Nicole has stayed in her Downtown Dwellings apartment for a while now and loves the character of the buildings. Not to mention, Mark and Jill and how they connect and involve people that live in their buildings so that we have a built in community. She is also involved in other community causes and leads a retreat for women called BoddCamp. She also just completed the Aids Life Cycle Ride. It is a 545 mile bike ride along the coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles. There were about 2,200 cyclists and we raised 16 million dollars towards aids research and treatment. Her team mate was Nathan Miller, another SoMa and Downtown Dwellings resident we will tell you about later.
Thank you, Nicole, for participating in our blog!
